Maine singer-songwriter Slaid Cleaves will give a concert to benefit the Pemaquid Mill restoration project of Old Bristol Historical Society Sunday, July 28, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of St. Patrick’s Church, 380 Academy Hill Road, Newcastle. 

Proceeds will help restore the last surviving mill in Bristol. Cleaves grew up in South Berwick and Round Pond, began his performing career in Portland, and has been based in the Austin, Texas, area since 1991.
