UpIsland Church, on Church Turn Road in Islesboro, will present a concert featuring Four Shillings Short, a duo who play folk and world music, on Saturday, September 14, at 7 p.m., following a potluck at 5:30. Tickets are by subscription or $20 at the door.

Aodh Og O’Tuama from Cork, Ireland, and Christy Martin from California perform traditional and original music from Celtic lands, Medieval and Renaissance Europe, India and the Americas on over 30 instruments, including hammered and mountain dulcimer, mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, recorder, tinwhistle, sitar, charango, bowed psaltery, banjo, Native American flute, bodhran, guitar, ukulele, doumbek, darbuka, spoons, vocals and krumhorn.
