Camden Hills Regional High School will offer performances of “The Theory of Relativity,” a new musical revue by Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, outdoors on Fridays and Saturdays, May 7, 8, 14 and 15, at 6 p.m. Rain dates are Sundays, May 9 and 16, at 2 p.m. Tickets, now on sale, must be purchased in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door.

The contemporary musical explores aspects of human relationships and love through solos, ensemble singing, and small vignettes. The show is more like a musical revue than a traditional musical with changing scenes and costumes. Parents of young children should be advised that some of the songs feature mature themes and content.

Kimberly Murphy directs, with accompaniment by Joani Mitchell, technical direction by Tom Heath and choreography by Gretchen Henderson. The cast of 19 performers features nine seniors. Oliver Worner is the student producer.

Audience members will be asked to remain masked during the show and maintain six feet of distance from others. Seating charts with assigned spaces will be created in advance. A limited number of drive-in style tickets will allow audience members to watch the show from their car and hear the music broadcast over an AM radio signal.

Purchase tickets here. Email oliver.worner22@fivetowns.net with any ticketing questions. Email Kim Murphy at kim.murphy@fivetowns.net with questions about the show.
