UMaine Extension invites agriculture producers and service providers to a free half-day session, from noon to 3 p.m., on Thursday, January 17, in the Arnold Room at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, to discuss building agricultural leadershipcapacity in Maine. 

The purpose of the initial meeting is to develop a framework that supports producers and service providers in advocating for the needs of the Maine agricultural industry. Future sessions will be based on the outcome of the first meeting.
