THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25:

• Enrollment Now Open for Rockland Harbor YMCA Child Care Center,
for kids 6 weeks to 5 years old. The program is slated to open at the new Y, 12 Water St., in early December. FMI: 236-3375, ext. 241.
• MC3! Chorus Registration, 3:15 p.m., Congregational Church, 55 Elm St., Camden. The children's offshoot of Midcoast Community Chorus, for singers ages 6-13. $80 for the semester. Scholarships and payment plans available. Rehearsals are set for 3:45-4:45 p.m. Thursdays. FMI: mccSings.org.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 29:

• "Wild Encounters" at Great Salt Bay Farm Heritage Center,
Damariscotta, for kids 5 and up in homeschooling families and groups. Sessions run 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 29, Oct. 13, Nov. 17, Dec. 15, Jan. 12 and Feb. 16. Themes include Insect Safari, Wabanaki Living, Maine's Mammals and more. With a hike and nature journaling. $5 per session. Buy five, get the sixth free. FMI: 563-1393.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30:

• "E.A.r.t.H. (Ecology for Advanced Homeschoolers) in Damariscotta,
at Great Salt Bay Farm Heritage Center, for homeschooled kids 9 and up with a serious interest in natural history. Classes:10 a.m.-noon Sept. 30, Oct. 6, Nov. 25, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Feb. 10, March 17, April 14, May 19 and June 9. Kids will study everything from phytoplankton to migration. • Free Children's Drawing Class, 4-5 p.m., Rockland Library, 80 Union St. Catinka Knoth leads the Let's Draw Together! class for children 6 and up. This week: "September gardens." Kids under 11 should be with an adult. Materials provided.

• Family Harvest Days at Boothbay Railway Village,
Sat. & Sun., Oct. 4 & 5. With old-fashioned fun including a hayride to the pumpkin patch, antique tractors, traditional games, farmstead food demos such as butter-churning (and tasting) and animals. Free with admission, $10 adults/$5 ages 3-18/free under 3 and members. Well-behaved dogs welcome.
• Free Daughters 'n' Dads Program, 6 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 9, 16 & 23, Pen Bay YMCA, Rockport. Knox County and Lincolnville girls in grades 3-5 and their dads, stepdads, uncles or other significant men in their life are invited to attend one, two or all three of the programs that feature a "getting to know you" activity, healthy meal, short discussion on making healthy choices, and noncompetitive games. • "Mammals of Maine," Fri., Oct. 10, 10-11 a.m., DRA Great Salt Bay Farm Heritage Center, Damariscotta. In this Frogs and Pollywogs class for preschoolers ages 2-5 and their parents/guardians, kids will see mammal skulls, hike for animal signs and make a plaster track. $3. Registration: 563-1393.
