Thomaston Public Library’s Intergenerational Book Club invites the public to its discussion of “Euphoria” by Lily King on Tuesday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. The novel, set in 1930s New Guinea, is inspired by the expeditions and love lives of controversial anthropologists Margaret Mead, Reo Fortune and Gregory Bateson.
The book club meets on the third Tuesday of every month. Extra copies of the books are purchased by the Friends of the Thomaston Public Library from the Annual Appeal funds, and copies are also available on the library’s circulating e-readers.
Those who live in Thomaston and would like to attend but need a ride may call the library at 354-2453 a week before discussion date.
