Medomak Arts Hosts Women’s History Month Events

Medomak Arts will host a potluck, art exhibit and pop-up bakery during the month of March in honor of women. The events will take place at Medomak Arts’ new location, 13 Friendship Street in Waldoboro village.
On Tuesday, March 14, a community potluck will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Drinks will be available, there will be a video loop of documentaries on women and their role in history, and a lending library of books and videos to share. Original paintings by artist Carol Wiley will be on display.
The opening of an exhibit of paintings of women by Carol Wiley of Jefferson will be held on Saturday, March 18, from 5 to 7 p.m.
A pop-up bakery, hosted by Susan Price from Sweet Morning Farm, will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays, March 20, 21, 27 and 28. The by-donation cafe will offer baked goods, coffee and tea, with proceeds to go to New Hope for Women.
